We are expanding our practice to include tele-health to provide the best care for our acutely ill patients during the COVID19 outbreak. For now, tele-Health will be available Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
You will be required to return the following signed documents to our office prior to your visit being scheduled. Forms will need to be filled out, signed, and then returned by email or fax. If you do not have a scanner, take a picture with your smart phone and email. Our email is info@premierforkids.com. As soon as we receive your email, a receptionist will call you to schedule the appointment time, validate your insurance, and collect a co-pay as your insurance requires. See more on this below:
Billing and Insurance
We will bill your insurance as a tele-health visit. Most insurance companies cover this cost as a typical office visit. Self insured plans may exclude this benefit. Everyone will be required to send us an Advance Beneficiary Notice to be able to use this option – see above.
All standard co-pays and fees contracted with your insurance company apply.
Effective February 1st, 2020, per industry standards there will be an additional charge for visits that take place on Federal holidays and weekends.
Your card on file will be used unless we are otherwise notified. Please see our Financial Policy for more information.
If you have new insurance or payment card information, please let the receptionist know when you book the appointment. DO NOT send specific card numbers or personal details through email due to the risk of identity theft.
Our Tele-health System
Premier Pediatrics uses an online tele-health site called doxy.me. This site uses HIPAA compliant and 128 bit encryption. You are not required to have an account, download software, and no data related to the visit is retained by doxy.me.
At the Appointment Time
At the time of your appointment you can log into the appropriate “waiting room.” The individual “waiting room” connection for each provider is available below, but you must schedule an appointment prior to visiting the site.
Once you are logged in, please wait for us to log in as well. We should be logging-in with you shortly, but may still be with another patient when you first log in, much like in the office. Don’t disconnect – stay logged in – we can see you are there on our end! The benefits to you are that you can work on things at home near your computer while you wait.
