We have become aware of drive-up strep throat testing in the community. As a medical home, we cannot prescribe antibiotics for patients that have not been seen in our office or tested in our office. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we want to give the best medical care possible. We have walk in hours Monday-Friday 8-430pm and Saturday 8-11am to be as accessible as possible. We recommend not testing at drive up options for strep or flu since sometimes medications are warranted and these conditions can be overlap or be confused with others (Mono, COVID, pneumonia etc).
